Initially there had been some opposition from the crew, the general feeling being that if you were wearing them the first time around then probably it could be seen as inappropriate to do so for a second time round. However now that leggings seem to have completely taken over as spring leg wear some of us are seriously wavering. I myself have gone so far as to try some on, Vic has bought some and can only assume has taken the rather drastic step of wearing them!
The question is this: having thought we were too cool to wear what we essentially viewed as a naff 80′s item of clothing, are we now only just contemplating boarding this particular fashion boat only to find it has rather spectacularly sailed? Is it now only us thirty somethings who are wearing them? Watch this space…
*Update*: Spoke to my sister this morning, apparently buying/wearing footless tights or leggings is unacceptable behaviour in an almost 34 year old. Vic – you are well out of order being 35 and wearing them! (don’t care though am gonna do it anyway!)
