I think the problem most people had for the Dynamo was not wearing enough. I’ve done it a couple of times and been really cold because I’ve not been wearing enough and because I’ve been riding with slower friends. This time, I rode at my pace and wore more clothes than I thought I need and – best of all – overshoes. So although it tipped down, I remained pretty warm. The rain was unpleasant though, and at speed in the dark it got quite dangerous in parts.

i’ve had a cold for the last two weeks as well – so didn’t want to exacerbate it by being out in the rain all that time. also – the whole point of cycling for me, is for it to be fun.
