Today I voted for the first time since I was 18 – thats 17 years ago…. Its not been through lack of trying – I have been registered on the lectoral roll more than once but because I have moved so often I’v never been in the right suburb at the time of the election. Oh and also, the dog ate my homework…or something.
Anyway, i had thought the main problem was going to be choosing between the two idiots who seem to be the only semi credible contenders, but no, when I got to the polling station I was given 3 peices of paper. I actually had to vote for mayor, a member for the assembly and a local councillor or somesuch. So many decisions and so little time. The only thing I knew for sure was the two parties I would never vote for; the British National Party and that Christian party…
I just hope I’ve backed a winner…yes, I’m finding it hard to take seriously.

So, I only met John Barrowman yesterday! Well I say met, actually me, the Boyf and a couple of colleagues were sitting in the window of Trobadours on Old Brompton Road when we saw him poppping to the corner shop. Maaaan is he handsome…
After he came out of the shop across the road he popped into a rather classy looking Tattoo place. When he came out of there and crossed the road, the Boyf enthusiastically (and embarassingly) waved at him and he actually waved back with a beautiful smile…
