So the wireless festival was very good, exactly the kind of gig I like – ie not too crowded.
It was the first time I had seen Morrissey in person, despite having been a fan for many years. His opening song – couldn’t have been better ‘Last of the famous international playboys’. Other gems included Vicar in a tutu, Death of a disco dancer and How soon is now.
Beck was also playing the main satge and while he was pretty damn good, he was also pretty damn uncommunicative. I’m not sure he uttered a word to the audience – not even an ‘Hello London’…
